Im looking into converting the parts from my stp0 to a new frame and am wanting to run 24" wheels. I heard that 24" wheels on a stp is horrible and i was intending on changing the frame anyway. I had a look and am interested in the Identiti dr jekyll for sale and the yeti dj. Ive always liked the yeti but am doubtful of how well it would run on 24's. It is a "short" so im guessing that helps with he ability to run 24's, the dr jekyll seems very short aswell.

If any of you guys have had experience with these combinations i'd like to hear about it. Also general thoughts on 24" wheels for urban and dirt jumping, as im yet to feel them, but i presume they will be better as im fairly short (5'6").

thanks alot.

get a 24/7 frame. Most of them are designed for 24inch wheels and they are all mad.

24" rims are the bomb. I love it. it makes the bike somewhat more nimle, and i reckon just feels better at the feet. Each to their own, you'll get a lot of people saying '26inch wheels is what mountain biking's all about' ya-di-da-di-da..

I would also consider getting a 24" specific frame, as it's generally designed that little bit better (towards 24's obviously..)

Otherwise i have a 2005 small norco 250 (comes stock with 24" so it's practically designed for them)

Cheers,
Kev

have a look at a Brooklyn Machine Works Park Bike. 24" specific, history suggests they are unbreakable and they are definitely something you don't see everywhere.

Both sensational frames designed for 24" wheels.

The Twentyfour seven 'Dark Angel V24' is a pretty good 24" specific frame.
