Im looking at forking out 1000 bucks for the Boxxer UTURN
Whats your opinion or experience on this fork with the UTURN option?
I had an old pair of 2001 boxxers which were sweet but Im not sure how the new model stacks up against the Manitou range.
Cheers

boxxer ride U-turns are a good fork for many things, i dj and downhill on mine, using the U-turn adjustment its works really well, go for the '06 model though!

I got some boxxer 05 rides and i love them, havnt let me down yet. I would recommend them as a bit of an all rounder with freeride mostly in mind.

Have a look in the for sale forums. I'm sure I've seen recently: 888's, newer boxxers, and maybe a travis. All $1000 or less.

Was riding Orimbah with a friend who has the U-turn forks.
They were constantly loosing travel. Would start at full travel and by the end of the track they were getting close to 120mm
If you looking at $1000 go the Team its a far better fork.

Is loosing travel a common problem? or do you think its a one off in which case the fork obviously needs servicing ?
Whats the difference between the 2005 UTURN & the 2006 ?
