help pls Stumpjumper FSR 2yo vs Talon NEW

Just wanted to get some thoughts. I have the option of buying a brand new giant talon or a stumpjumper fsr comp 2 years old in great nick for about the same money? Getting back into riding after some years away and looking for some single track xc perhaps the odd enduro and some general riding around town. Would love to hear what people think and what would be a reasonable price for the FSR.

Stumpjumper without a doubt! 05 models are very nice. You can ask Bodin on these forum to confirm.

BTW Talon is a hardtail and Stumpjumper is a Dual suspension, they are a bit like comparing apples and oranges.

not so much a comparison as that is my budget and there is a fsr for sale for similar money. I suppose just wondering whether i go new therefore ht of used and to get the dually?

get the stumpjumper for sure, they will last you for many years to come and u will own 1 of the best dual suspension bikes of all time.
