G'day guys, i'm in Sydney and new to street. I've been trying some jumps on my Ironhorse MKIII but after snapping my DW link i think its time to upgrade. What would be better, getting a Giant STP 0, or a Specialized P.3, i'm mainly goin to use it for street/urban and dirt jumping. Thanks guys, also are there any other recomondations of bikes in this catagory, i've tried the Norco Sasquatch but found it a tad heavy.

i have an 06 stp1, and i find it good for street and dirt jumping. its a great frame to start off with...but i wish that every 2nd person didnt have it

I have the stp0 and its great for all of that. The p3 is better but if you buy the stp0, which is way cheaper, you can upgrade a few parts making it better. Does suck that so many people ride stp's. IMO the stock stp0 is perfect. Also you can use the stp for DH, gotta love the pikes. Other options include norco 125, 250, Kona HT range and many more. Its worth checking out frames such as the NS suburban and Bitch. Hope this helped.

ride both befor you decide... i'm not farmilar with the p3 but i know that once the stp 0 is single speeded and you loose the front brake it instantly turns into a dj/street machine. the pikes make it light so its easy to bunny hop and controll in the air...

Go an 07 P1 once they come out! You should be able to pick one up for about $1100-$1200. Cromo frame so really strong, horizontal droppouts, and spend the money that you save on a fork upgrade. Gears will just end up annoying you and you'll smash them off, kill your wheel's etc.
