G'day, It's quite wet here in Sydney. The trails are going to stay damp for a while. I'm want to do some mountain biking.

Some trails are good for riding in the wet. They are sandy, and drain well. Others turn into enormous bogs.

I know that Manly Dam and Oxford Falls can get a bit boggy. I don't want to be riding through thick mud.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to which tracks I should do?

Cheers,
Arpit

It's not quite Sydney but Ourimbah stays pretty dry after rain.

Or anywhere close to the catchment area as you can guarantee it won't have rained there.

Yes mate, I'm not planning on going there. As I said, I don't want to ride in boggy locations.

The Yarramundi trail keeps itself quite dry.......
If you're doing the N-Z0 12hr, you 'll get to check it out wet, or at least damp.

Although you probably wont be doing the trailbuilders any favours. ;)

Appin XC track looks like it will handle the rain well being typical Sydney sandstone bush type trails.. depends which side of Sydney you are on

All the rides up the Blue Mountains are generally Ok in the wet coz it's all sandstone but it's also pretty cold up there in the wet!

Menai holds up ok to a little bit of rain. Parts of the Royal hold up well to the wet - but like Manly Dam riding will only attract the ire of the rangers.
