does anyone know of some good tracks or fire trails on the great north walk

I do know the section that runs through Glenrock is off limits to bike riders. Its the one trail under the current Plan of Management that is designated walkers only.
Some of the single trail that runs from hillsborough to Warners bay is fun, but its only short.
Not sure what it is like once you get into the watagans though.

Not sure if bikes are allowed but suss out the track from the top of the old mooney mooney bridge. Good 45 minute ride with a killer downhill section.

The Great North walk section that goes over Mt. Sugarloaf is great fun. Nice and fast and a fantastic ride. Check it out if you get the time :)

I ride that section fairly often and never seen anything that says its off limits to bikes. There are some awesome technical tracks around that area if you are keen to do some exploration.

yeah theres a little place near top of mooney mooney and it is pretty good but other tracks off the walk are prohibited
