Duct tape, Foam and Zipties.
Get a bit of foam, wrap duct tape around it, then zip-tie it to the frame...
yes okay, both cheap ideas, but i want something that i can put onto a piece of seat post so that i can take it off when i go street or park riding and attach my seat, i have been thinking about it for ages but still cant think of any good ideas

Why not just get a small seat? This is a picture of my old Trials bike with the Monty Trials seat, $20 from www.monty.com.au
All you have to do is 'shave' some plastic where the seat post sticks in, so instead of using a seattube...the seat fits 'inside' the frame seat tube (if that makes any sense)

lol that is gold:D
am i gold???
no, the other guy who said the tennisball thing
just slam the seat to the very bottom it shouldnt get in your way, if anything your wheel should get in the way first
yeah i know, its a personal joke between us:p (the thats gold thing)
trust me, the seat pisses me off quite a bit and its because of the seat post mechanism thing, i just want a little tiny something instead of a beefy seat post and seat,
im gonna go to the hardware stori this weekend and have a look at what there is there, or maybe i can just buy a trials seat from a LBS
