The name farkin

This maybe a stupid question but i was wondering how farkin got its name, where does it come from??:confused: Its been pondering on my mind and i can't see any obvious links apart from to the f word but i assume it wouldnt be named after that. So if anyone knows why it was called this or has any ideas on Acronym's please let us know.
