hey
i recently bought a ss kit for my stp:D
apperently it is has a bad tensior.... so i was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback on some products that would help me out then that would be great:D
cheers jared
before you go buying a tensioner, if u fiddle around with ur chain length u should be able to guide the chain with ur hand onto ur front cog. Have the chain on ur rear cog and then use ur hand to guide it onto the front cog whilst moving the cranks with ur hand. U'll need to make sure ur chain is extremely tight, otherwise it'll slide off.
It worked for me when i put my ss kit on. Good luck!:D

thanks for that feedback
but when you want to change your tire is it hard to get your chain back on?
because that is the reason they invented tensiors......
cheers jared
when u want to take your rear wheel off, just do the same as u do to put the chain on. Put ur hand beneath the chain and guide it off. It sounds unco but works a treat without the chain being too tight or too loose.

yeh.. my friend did the same thing, but the bike shop said that the chain will start to stretch after a couple of weeks and they also said that he will need to buy a tensior
my da bomb tensioner is great, no chain slipping or anything happening
