Scott 24 Hour - 2 Teams Available

Due to a number of unforseen circumstances myself and a friend have two complete team entries available for the Scott 24 hour.

The team of 6 entry has now been sold. The corporate entry is still available

One extra point about the corporate entry:

In the past we have had a corporate tent and run it as a team of 6 and a team of 4. That way everyone gets much more riding and still has access to the heated marquee (which was much appreciated in last year's mudfest)

So, get your mates together and do the 24 hour in style!!

Given the lack of interest in the corporate tent, we have been doing some hard negotiating with the 24 hour organisers and have managed to get a refund of most of the costs for the corporate team entry, but have been left with a team of 6 entry out of it.

Sooooo.....

We now have one team entry for 6 people available for the normal cost of $650.

I don't think you will have any trouble getting rid of the team of 6 entry although I'm suprised at the number of teams becomming available considering how fast team registration closed.

I'm not... entry has a reputation of selling out, everyone jumps in to "grab a team" whether they have one or not, or get half baked "yeah sounds good..." from a bunch of people. Get closer to the date, leave passes don't actually get handed out, or people don't wanna cough up the dosch, and people wind up with a team they can't fill and $650 on their credit card...

I half wonder if a ballot system or batched entry sale wouldn't be a better option if entry is going to sell out in a few days *shrug*

Yeah, it's expensive, but last year I had a couple of mates with their own businesses that claimed it as a business expense which made it much more attractive.. The gas heater was greatly appreciated at 3am last year after a very wet night lap.

I think the number of entries coming out this late are people like myself who get then entry in ASAP when they open and then sort out the teams later to make sure they get a spot. This has worked well for us the last few years it's just this year the combination of me having a new job and my mate who normally organises it all needing a knee operation have made it impossible.

I'm hoping to get a sneaky lap in with a couple of other mate's teams so it's not all bad.

Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on your point of view) I don't have a missus to answer to, but that $650 is burning a rather large hole in my credit card.
