Status of Homebush 4x track?

What the status of the Homebush 4X track at the moment? I know last weekends 4X round was cancelled but does that mean the track is unrideable or was it a case of damage prevention?

I'm keen to do some sort of riding this weekend and was hoping that if the sun stays out Homebush might be an option.

i dont think it means it's unrideable. I think it just means that the track was unfit for racing because of the rain. I was also thinking of riding there this weekend. I have riden there in the rain and its not much good. if it stays dry weather the rest of this week i think it will be ok.

I was at the track on the 16th and it is serverly rutted out. You can't carry any speed around the track and hard switching lines due to all the big hidden ruts. It may smoothen out (after maybe 100's of riders go around the track)but without someone taking a broom and shovel to help fill in some of the major ruts, i would say to not bother and go to a bmx track instead.
