mate, theres only one way to find out if it will break. Give it a dig, plus, why replace the guard if u havnt broken it yet.

I was doing abubacas yesterday and came short a couple of times and hit my bashy, truvative stocko one, and no problems at all, just scratches.

i ride with a raceface bashie and its really good, also, when the bottom gets all scratched up, you can change the orientation of it around so that you have more metal to scratch up!:D

are you serious sorry to be rude, but thast just stupid..

you dont want to break your bash guard, but your going to buy a new one??

im not sure about your specific one, but i know on the older model rampages, tehre bashguards where advertised as truvatic rockguards.. and they were about 2 mm thick, probaly not strong enough to handle a hefty blow.. (well mine wasnt)

Get a truvativ poly one.. Bit cheaper thatn e-13, and everyones got em for sale..

i payed 10 bucks for mine.. lasted about a year of park abuse, untill i kicked it.. and it shatterd one section off (i had done the bolts up to hard, caused stress fractures).. i also broke my big toe doing this.. hahaha

What I mean is that I want to do stalls on my bashie and I dont want to do them if its gonna break on me....hence the asking for sugestions for ones that wont break.

Why not use it till it breakes, THEN go buy something that wont(cant hurt).
But for the purpose of answering the question...I agree, the truvative polly bashy seems fairly strong, i have stalled on them before(nothing but scratches) or k-nine makes an alloy bashy that is COMPLETELY bombproof. Found it in my shed and wouldn't go past them.

i have used a Truvativ Poly bash guard for a while and it has held up fine for sk8park slides and crankslides on park benches. ovly problem is that it files away easily hence becomeing flat at one point if u slide/store on the same spot all the time
