M.artin
16-09-2006, 10:07 PM
Not too sure on the price... never acctualy tallied it up...
The seat clamp is the Deity one.. very similar to the cock ring...If it makes you happy i have a cock ring on my TOY4...:)

no pun intended bro but can we please get an admin to check for a certain konasupreme ip address juuusssst to make sure :)
that proves how good the bike is aye ;) hahaha.. he needs to be checked.
I think he's legit - look at the 'for the riders' sticker on the Mag30 wheel :)
Otherwise it's a damn nice bike.. :D but why on eaaaarth do you need two wheelsets? especially two fucking tank ass wheelsets (like.. i can see having one light for racing, one for DJ/street.. but two tank wheels? doesnt make sence..?)
You can sell one of the sets to me if you really want :)
love the frame colour..

noice! nicolai pride!
just wondering, did you get that chain tensioner with the frame? like is it acctually part of the frame or can it be fitted to all nicolai frames with sliding drop outs?
M.artin
17-09-2006, 07:28 AM
I had the other wheel set for my TOY4 so they are interchangable...I didnt go and buy two sets just because i can (That would be silly) But i already have put a crack in the Mag30 so i got a spare
the chain tensioner came with the frame, so i think youd be able to fit it to all nicolai frames. providing they have been made for the sliding drop outs.

hey, is it really awkward to ride having the 2 top-tubes. i would think they get in the way of pedalling
M.artin
17-09-2006, 09:20 AM
Not at all... It was a little weird the first few rides... but its all good now...
That's ridiculously nice.
Loving the Nicolai's, they are presented so good and i bet the riding package is just as good.
Have fun on that machine.

sounds like a likely scenario:cool:

Dude    , the best looking single speed bike i have ever seen! Very very nice bike, and i'm sure it would have costed you a pretty penny. One of the nicest paintjobs i've seen too. 10/10.

Words cannot describe the spec list and actual looks. defently 10/10 good work mate.
M.artin
17-09-2006, 11:19 AM
The frame retails for about $2000 but add on more for Addjustable drop outs, paint, custom geo or anything else you want them to do to it when ordering...so it can cost a little in the end.. i think my frame was about $3000
Havnt slipped foward and got cought in the frame............yet.....
the halo gear i got from the halo importer, here in Brisbane. there about $100 a rim for the 24" 48 spoke...and $50 a tyre...My LBS stocks the tyres...
The Twinrails are the best tyres. they come in Bright pink aswell (I have them on my other toy)

a letoy and a 2mxtb? :p
trendsetter...
Nice ride mate, you just need to get a decent wheelset happening and it'll go off. Build those hadleys up to a decent set of rims and enjoy the weight difference. Nice

M.artin
26-09-2006, 06:06 PM
Nicho - www.rouler.com.au
No one stocks them as they are made to order, They are the best frame you will every buy.
nicho
26-09-2006, 06:14 PM
HI
Well a very few select shops actually stock one or two nicolai frames.
The main ones are Bike addiction in sydney and brunswick st cycles in Melbourne.
But as Martin said they are made to order so not much point holding to much stock.
Nicolai frames are very exclusive design and manufacturing. They offer an amazing range of bikes and an amazing range of options and colours, yes at a price!
Martin your bike is a ripper seeing it in flesh is quite amazing.
Ride report maybe martin ?

Hey, love the frame colour and that would have to be one of the nicest bikes ive seen around these days.
hey. love the gravedig
pretty sweet bike though, pitty about the juicy sevens how they look silly if you want the breaks the other way around.
note the nob on the underside of the lever
M.artin
21-04-2007, 09:23 PM
Yes, did that so that if i hit the brake lever on anything it wouldn't snap the red dial off... And it makes the brake look cleaner (I think)
Watch out in the next few weeks as well... A new Nicolai will be posted up..;)... Much much nicer.
