Thinking about selling my bike and I need to get an idea what it's worth.

It's a specialized FSR Enduro 2001 model.

I have spent a few dollars over the last year on the following:

RP3 rear shock
Marzocchi MX Comp 120 ETA forks
XT M752 CRANKSET and bottom bracket
PROTAPER CARBON RISER BAR
XT 12-34 cassette
XTR chain
Also have new headset, but nothing of note.

Frame is in good condition - few scratches of course but no dings. All pivots have been checked and are fine.

Has XT/LX shifters and derailleurs.

Wheels are Mavic 223 with Specialized hubs in not too bad condition.

Anybody willing to give me a price guide?? Is it better to sell it for parts or whole?

Thanks.

I reackon if you put it up for auction on ebay, you would probably get between $550 and $750 for it... I think you might get more if you split the bike.

I bought a 2004 Enduro a few months ago, in as good as new condition for $1500

I think generally speaking bikes/shocks/etc depreciate in value around 25% each year... except on the first year when it is a bit more, like around 35%.

Anyway there are a whole lot of other factors that will influence how much you can sell a bike for, like the condition of the bike, the amount of demand for that bike... where you live etc...
