Hey guys and girls

im recently bought a set of Truvativ hussefelts and when i got them i realised they were a lot more scratched than i thought so i have decided to get the powdercoated. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on getting new logos for them. heres a pic of them

well mate i wouldnt really worrie much about heaps of scratches. 1. because there a crank, there bound to get scratched. 2. because if you paint them then the paint will just rub off from riding where your shoe rubs on the crank. and 3. the logos are painted on with a special paint. so it would be a real pain in the ass to a) get the template to do the painting and b) get the correct paint. so over all its not worth it in my opinion. just my 2c:D

You could just sand off the original anodize then polish with wet n dry emery paper working up to up to 1500 grit. Further polish with a buffing wheel then finish off with Autosol. See how shiny the rubbed off finish already looks.

Check out this alloy spacer and seatpost clamp I polished.

If you paint/powder coat them the paint will just end up on your shoes in no time, and you'll have to either mask or sand back the interface for the chainring.

besides, ovadahill is right; high polish alloy is the new black!
