Im officially the wierdest rider (apart from my personallity "complete spaz")
i ride:
left foot forwards
grind on the right
spin to the right
whip, back end to the left
table to the right,
hip to the right
I WIN!:p
i beg to differ
left foot forwards
grind on left- back in the days when i could actually grind
spin right
whip left-right if im feeling lucky
table left
hip left

i taped the spokes with tape, some fragile crap.
then just spray the rims, and the over spray will be caught by the tape, then just remove later.

you mean a wedge mod. you don't have to have an animal seat and post, you can do it with any pivotal seats.
in the meantime...check it, the process has commenced!

Some of these bikes are looking awesome.
Just a question (hope its ok to be in here), how important do you guys feel it is to have a full cromo bike and fork? Is a bike with cromo "main tubes" still a solid beast, or will it be weak and heavy? (I am unexperienced bmx wise)

sick bikes Dove and Jordan! wow, Josh, your bike looks much better than with how your forks were the other day.
New forks should arrive today, but will go on on Saturday, as will white pedals. Gonna drill out my rims, hidden side only. Hollowbites soon probably... then maybe Ti spindle etc etc. it really should start to lose some weight. I want it down to like 11kg. I can get like 300 degree hops, and my mates bike which is 11kg i reckon i could ride out pretty close to 360 with getting used to the bike. I also need to work on upper body strength rather than just lightening my bike! hahaha :p
Might be buying my bosses Fly Pantera V1 for 200 bucks w/ BB and HS, but i dunno, i could probably hold out and run a much lighter frame cos i'm not a hucker generally. Dunno, i want a lower frame. Whatever the situation, i want to re-raw and high polish it this time, and may go 2tone with the same purple as my fixie, similar design to the Giant BMX's of 08. Photoshop later.

Thats an ok way at doing it. Its just i wouldnt trust it with the slit above it, i reckon you should cut it down past that then drill another hole, just so there is no way of it comming out.
x how is your 22 8 drive train going? Whats the chain/sprocket and driver ware like? every bodys bikes are looking absolutely RAD
It's going fair good, but I do have a bad chainline which I need to get around to fixing soon.
To be honest, 25-9 is probably more sensible, because of a few reasons:
-Don't need to shave/file down sprocket bolt so it doesn't hit chain.
-Less driver and sprocket wear
-Doesn't hit chainstays as much
But I don't have any real issues with 22-8. My driver and sprocket haven't worn much at all, only thing annoying me at the moment is the chainline which I mentioned.
Dove.

thats why you have your seat slammed, theres no were for it to go and no movement to damage anything. I have the pivotal seat mod and it works really well

I did the mod on my Light My Fire.
LMF comes pre drilled out, below the toptube. you just drill the hole in the seat post all the way through and run a nut and bolt. works fine, seats slammed as it meant I could cut the seat clamp off totally. I'll get some images happening.

I purchased a Blackburn(sp?) driver off dans with my order (9 tooth) and when I took off my old one off my Hazard hub my new one didn't go on properly, now I have to sort of force my rear wheel into the dropouts?? There is a spacer thing which holds the driver flush against the hub shell but it doesn't seem to be going in correctly...? I have to do it up tightly to fit my wheel in and when I do it up tightly my back wheel doesn't spin well, the bearings are compressed which means they don't spin...? Any ideas?

thanks Bill, yeah the foldable fly's are just as good as the steel bead ones. you only save like 30g, but they're same cost as the normal ones i think, and the rep had them in his van. So much better than the Dirt monster i was running for 2 weeks or so. Still want a lower frame, probably go a 21" aswell. might buy Josh's V2 pantera when he gets sick of it, which no doubt won't be long, as opposed to what he tells me! haha
