Strange request, but can someone get me a contact email address of the fly website?
Its a crappy website that sucks to view on my phone.
Or can anyone tell me if a 2.25 ruben fits in the rear of a pantera2?
Ill have a couple new photos up on monday when I'm at work. May even have a self filmed digicam clip if I can work out the editing software that I can use at work. Oh so technical!
Thanks!

Boltcutters, Then once the chain is off put it in a vice and punch out the pins with a centre pop. Or stop being a tight ass, And go buy the proper chain breaker.

I tried meth on it for ages and it's still a bit sticky :S
did i ever!!
i used oven cleaner in an effort to get it off, but the one that i used really wasnt that great.
i ended up getting some steal wool onto it with some soap. that got it off, but obviously scratched the paint on the bars.
there is an oven cleaner that i used to strip the paint on my bike that works real well. i cant remember the name, but im fairly sure the cap of it is orange. to open it you press two buttons on the side of hte cap and it comes off. i can get the name of it tonight if your mum doesnt have any in the cupboard.
to the point. a good oven cleaner should sort you out.

Yerp, who cares how much your supporting the overseas market, it's called post your bmx for a reason. Or even people start posting riding pics of them on their bikes so we can see them being used and not just built for the garage wall hooks. Be better than "wow, look what i'll be getting".

people say that harry, then buy multitudes of blingy parts.
Working in a bike shop, my mind goes both ways on the matter. I understand, being that the majority of us are fairly young, we don't have tons of money to throw around. And the reality is that taxing and whatever other BS all goods go through, makes wholesale here similar to retail there, which is F'ed. What really annoys me is when people order small parts they won't or will hardly save money on, overseas rather than buying locally.
Don't think that LBS' are trying to rip you off. the reality is that wholesale is freaking high in Australia, which is either importers or the government's fault. I'm thinking it's government.
I know in our bike shop we always try to help people out with prices when we can, or where it's deserved, but then we also get rude customers who expect discounts and forget that as a business, y'know, we still want to make some money.
You also don't get the customer support from Dans or Empire. Only an LBS can help you out with fiddly little bits etc.
I understand that commerce is screwed up in this country, but come on guys, support local where you can.

That does annoy me, yes. When someone comes into this topic and screams "DANS ORDER CAME THROUGH, and show us their bike with some new pegs or something..
I try my best to only buy central parts of my bike internationally, and I always get them proffessionally installed and pay the full price of installation, so I'm supporting the local a bit, atleast..
And when buying things like tires, grips, pedals, those kinds of things, I always shop locally..

ill throw my opinion in on the matter hahah.
ive purchased a heap of stuff off the internet, not just bike parts but electrical equipment, shoes, clothes and skateboards etc.
the two main reasons ill buy off the internet is availability and cost.
i wear xl tshirts because im tall as hell and alot of bmx companies/distributors in australia dont even bring in anything bigger than a large, so the only option is to buy off the internet. ive had issues also where i couldnt get a certain part here yet (plastic pedals were one of those), so the only way to get them was off the internet. so in that case i wasnt 'stealing' profit from shops.
cost is a big one it seems for alot of people here. i saved a good 6-700dollars at least on my initial build for the fly at the start of 07 when the dollar was hovering at about $.80us, thats almost a week wage! Yes i had to wait for it to arrive and risked not receiving the correct order, but at that price who cant afford to take that risk.
on the other hand though, i do buy alot of stuff from stores, especially since strictly moved their store into the city.
THe only thing that you miss out on buying off the net for bike parts is warranty, which with alot of the 'lightweight' parts is something that is worthwhile. id never buy a set of cranks off the internet!
that really didnt add too much to the argument.

Let me know how you go fitting a 2.25 in the rear. I've gotta return mine for a 2.1 because it won't roll with a 2.25 in the rear. A 2.2 dirt path fits in the rear fine though

^^
Gsport Ribcage
Great rim. Black works great with brakes, doesnt wear away. Only issue is the side walls seem to be too soft. Even running 80psi still seemed to allow dents to happen. Didnt just happen to me.. also 3 of my mates.
I have heard that 7ka's are stronger than g sports
i have also heard that g sports are stronger than 7ka's
so whatever is cheaper i guess
My rear g sport has a slight buckle in it but nothing to serious.

You do know it's an immediate ban for discriminating against homosexuals - you can't say: gay, homo, faggot or any other discriminatory term. So you are in more wrong than he is. He might be an asshole, but I doubt a homosexual

I haven't tried a 2.1 yet, but it should give it enough room.
Ill let u know when I try it tonight.
It obviously depends what frame you run also. A guy I know can't even fit a 2.1 path in his sputnic frame!
i can only just (by a millimeter) run a 1.85 path tire on my bike. so i got a 1.5 khe :)
