at the moment i would personally be looking at new cranks and a sprocket. you may also need to get a new rear hub so that your gearing isnt out of whack.

then just build it up from there: bars, forks, brake(or no brake) are all areas that are easily upgradable.


in other news:

my fit faf is holding up quite nicely, there is very minimal wear on the tread and despite running over numerous bits of glass accidentally i havent had a flat yet.

I also read the packaging a while back and it said that the tyre had *tear resistant silkworm technology* in the sidewalls and a *puncture resistant kevlar belt*. So this would probably help with all those people you love grinding. However i cant really judge its strength when used along with pegs as i have decided to run pegless for a while so i havent been doing grinds.

I'd just get someones old/haggard/broken pleg and mod it. If you dont have to chop too much out then go for it! keep in mind if youre rotating and chopping it you might have a shitty chop out the whole way around that could screw it up

They have a nicer 'feel' to them when under foot than other pedals I've ridden.
I do pedal grind and they slide better than aluminium pedals and are obviously cheaper to replace.
When my bike hits the ground it doesn't sound like its going to rattle apart like it would with regular pedals.
They are just as strong as heavier and more expensive pedals.

They are my reasons for running them.

I think you have to smack it on or use a crank installer tool. I think.

Cheers, The coaster is sweet, had some issues with it when i first got it but that was due to not being given instructions on ajusting the slack and my LBS knowing SFA about it ended up destroying the ramps. Aside from that its been good.

there are two reasons for left hand drive-not many people have it, and when I occasionally run pegs, they're on the right, it's only logical. And as far as the different grips, i dont really know. when i was taking the left grip (another purple one) off my old bars, i broke it, so i just threw on whatever was lying around the shed, and i just havent been bothered to replace them.
