i have a problem with my bb the middle tube piece is to long therefore the bearings stick out a 4 or 5 mm each side what exactly does that piece do as when i removed it the bb when together perfect and i don't have access to a cut off saw till Wednesday so will it do any damage with out it or should i install it before i ride

the spacer stops you from over-tightening the cranks, which will push the inner bearing race out of line with the outer race, which would ruin your bearings. you need it, just get it in the right size somehow

I run powerbites, and a frame that takes a mid bb.
And all i have is bearings, two 22mm SPANISH cone spacers on each side, and some random spacers. No tube spacer, and not even the right cone spacers haha.
But it works fine. Just grind down your tube spacer a little and it will fit, ive done it before.

Problem one:

Hubbie - How did you go with flipping your Wombolts? Did the pedals undo or did it cause any sensation of that form?

Problem Two:

Have a 2007 Wethepeople addict frame with a threaded Euro BB. The cranks are set up properly as far as I can see, but everytime I tighten (not over tighten) the crank bolts, the cranks seem to seize up. I am most definately not over-tightening the cranks as it happens before I even 'snip' it. Is it the internal spacer being a wank?

Problem Three:

Again with the Wethepeople addict frame, headset is a standard unsealed with the normal cups. One of the cups is cracked and I would like to convert it to a sealed bearing style one. Is this possible?

Tap that! Get new bars and seat but, the bars look small.. and the seat looks terrible. Part from that its a bloody sex looking bike. Fit have some good colours/ styles this year.

Agreed, whats with this not all cromo frame bullshit? last year their frames on all bikes were 100% cromo.. bit disappointing IMO.

nice bike bowlo but remember you made a deal with us that you were going to keep this one for at least one year before you sell it haha anyway have fun with it its lookin great. you always manage to build the best bikes BUT... you dont keep them so i decided what you should do for a living when you leave skool. i think that you shoul invest in bikes and then sell them because you've built up 8 amazing bikes now but only kept them for a couple of months or in some cases DAYS i.e. the leaf and the patriot anyway nice bike have funn.

If there is grease on the thread it wouldn't allow the loctite to 'lock' the threads together.
I'm fairly sure it says on the back of the loctite bottle that thread must be clean and grease free.

Got new perrpl Profile Acoustic stem. Looks hot. wheels have arrived too, but boss forgot to order spokes, so will order them this week, and have them built for next weekend I suggest. Purple stem looks a little odd with the white bars and forks and spokes, but will look far better with the wheels built (the proper purple rims are a perfect match to the stem), and I'm pretty keen to paint my bars and forks black. photo later today maybe.

This is my 06 gt fly love the colour a few chips and rust from weather but it goes like f**k ive got a lrge maxxi on the front and a siren racer on the back great set up for dirt but my brakes are crap atm, for sale to btw brand new mongoose heavy duty crank was installed 3 days ago for 200 bucks, its a great set up im looking for about $250 for it.

13.75inch rear end which I've grinded down a little bit so you don't have to keep breaking your chain when taken off your rear wheel.
No brakemounts.
One VERY tiny dint in the left chainstay, very hard to see but you can feel it.
No cracks or bends.
I might even give it a fresh paint job if you're lucky.
You all know what it looks like.

Now LHD,pulled the driver out and turned the pawls around.

Here is my bmx once again, took the stickers off and I'm still stoked on this bike.

Although the grip on the plastics pedals really doesn't excite me. I'm looking at some other odyssey ones, trail mixers in infra red like my other gear.

yeah the stem was a last minute change as they ran out or didn't have any of the odyssey front loader ones. oh well i might change it in the future but it works good now nothing wrong with it, might even flip it.

Modifications- Cut, grinded, filed and sanded the
seat clamp to make it insane. Grips cut about 1 cm
off each end to save weight. Left the dirt on my frame to show i ride trails everyday all day.

Nice broz. Looks good. I dont really dig the sprokkie much though. Forks are a tad bent too.
