Lance is a snake, but when I get a new front wheel I'll be getting a Demolition Bulimia in White, as its one of the select few white hubs around.

Question for trailst4r for when he's next online: how did you go about painting you wheels?

step 1: get spray paint
step 2: spray wheel
step 3: wait for it to dry

its fairly simple stuff.

But how do you avoid painting all of the hub bits that you dont want to paint (eg driver and cones and bolts etc).

rainy day = bar extension,s

1) cut a piece of bar of an old pair of bars.http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x25/bilwtp/barend1.jpg
2)make sure the piece of bar is no longer than half of your bar end. Then slide the piece of bar over your bar end.http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x25/bilwtp/barend2.jpg
4)use whatever tightens your bar ends and tighten the screw up as much as you can.http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x25/bilwtp/barend4.jpg

I know I'm totally outnumbered here with this racing frame but I thought I'd post up what I have so far of my bike build up.
This is my Specialized S-Works Pro race frame with speshy disc brake adaptor .
Hydro-formed top tube, one piece chain stay extrusion, machined head,bb and drop-outs - this frame is an engineering work of art!

Brakes: Hope Mini Mono hydro disc with 160mm rotor (180mm rotor fitted for illustration only)
Stem: Thomson Elite
Post: Thomson Elite
Seat: Nisene Pave Ti
Bar: Specialized Race Chromoly
Headset: FSA Orbit
Fork: Bombshell F1 carbon
Wheels: Kore Hoochie race hubs laced to black Velocity Aeroheat rims with dbl butted black stainless spokes, gold nips and 16t driver
Cranks/ring: RaceFace Deus w 44T

At the moment the wheels are being built up and the other parts are either here or on their way.
Will post the complete bike when built up.

the first days i didn't really like the freecoaster. the stud sys didn't work, the coaster made strange sounds, the gap was too small. somehow this went away now.i run the biggest gap possible now and that fits good. i really like it and its fun to ride. but its still strange to ride without the sound of a cassette hub :P

white forks? what will they be?

was considering Primo Kamikaze's or Mankind Archangels just for something different. Probably just end up with Odyssey Race's or Dirts to save that extra ever-so precious 100g's or so though.

Bike is beautiful to ride at the moment! One pad has a little toe-in, and chainring isn't perfectly centred, meaning changing chain tension, but neither affect rideability. Just a matter of perfectionism. It's just all so tight and smooth. Loving pegless to. Not sure why, but it feels more balanced, and i prefer riding like that, and if it does, so be it. I should however learn some peg tricks.

when i painted my forks that happened as well.

my frames very heavy as well its around 5kg,s just wanting something a bit lighter.

thanks guys the new frame weighs in at just under 2.4kg,s which isn't a big difference but all the things i wanted in a frame are there,
higher bottom bracket longer top tube shorter rear end and the chain wont hit the frame. also has no brake tabs, the frame i am getting is an wethepeople ovoid Top tube: 20.65

also one question, i am new to internal headsets and the headset that came with my frame was an tripple six integrated headset it came with top and bottom crown two bearings a Compression Ring and 2 Shim Washers. one of which i lost.
is it ok to run just one of shim washer just above the compression ring in the top.
thanks.

an internal headset usually consists of crown race 2 bearings a centering cup and a top cap. that is all you need.

Running pegs with a 3/8" Nankai coaster???

That's keen! What sorta' stuff do you put your pegs through? I want to run the Nankai, but also want pegs; My other option was the bamboo, but then I can't use a Profile shell...yet.

Techno Boy thats looking quiet sexual.

Anywho thought I better do an update on my bike.

After a few intoxicated nights my bike had been painted around 5 times so decied to give it some good paint, as well as some new parts. Macneil seat and Custom post which was wedged aswell, Gsport front rim, chain and gsport hubguard.

Turned out like this :

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/Leech11/1.jpg

Picture of my own little design (Pretty much a barend)

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/Leech11/2.jpg

Then it was time for the fit frame to leave me.

Looks like this now... just sold it

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/Leech11/3.jpg

Then got rid of those shit fly pedals and got some Shimano DX's as well and some shadow little ones pegs.

So now im borrowing a frame off a mate (FBM) untill my new frame comes and this is what it looks like currently:

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c80/Leech11/4.jpg

Not in this picture but I now have a gsport rim on the back with a profile mini with ti axel and ti driver and ti nuts.

Next on the agenda is ti spindle for the cranks, my new frame, new seat and post again and probly a new stem.

Plus heres a couple of recent riding shots:

I vote neither, take it to a paint shop, have the frame colour matched, then paint the bars/fork in that. It would look smooth as with matching bars/fork/frame and the rest as it is with stealthy dark colours.
BMXs don't always have to be about painting as many parts wacky disparate colours as possible...

Sunday!

white knight do a colour that is identical to my frame, i have always thought about doing that, but thought it would look rather wack.

There's a difference between having a 1998 style Primo Rod that's 12" out of the frame, and a fucking barend attached to a road bike seat. Totally useless, you can't sit on it, you can't grip it, what the fuck do you use it for other than posing with your sisters size 6 black jeans?

unlike you we dont like having long hard things up our arse

Because when we we ride we dont jsut go down a hill (no offence dhers just trying to make a point) we do tricks and your seat gets in the way and many years ago tail whips werent even around wtf?

Also im not emo neither are many other on this bmx forum or wear girls jeans  except maybe peter cause hes a dardy rider

I don't see what the big deal is, a bmx with a slammed seat is still a bmx...I don't see how having a slammed seat makes you "scene" or not, I couldn't care less anyway. If you like a high seat, run it high, if you like it low, run it low. Oi gunny, post your 18 up! lol .
P.S, sxereturn... sit on your jacked up seat, shut up and ride

3 years ago i didn't even go to skateparks or bmx tracks, nor care what they were. but even in that short time, i would kill you at riding.
