Honesty has its rewards. Take it to the closet police station to where you found the wallet. They should itemise it and take your details. If no one turns up in 6 months you should get it all back. If they get it back, then they may leave you a reward, or one day it will come back to you in another form.

That is Karma

The worlds full of dodgy bastards, hopefully if I ever lose something valuable you will be around

People will say that they'd do the same, but if they're in the position...

With the whole karma thing, where did the name karma come from?

With the whole karma thing, where did the name karma come from?

It's Indian. The concept features heavily in Buddhism and Hinduism.

EDIT:- Dash! beaten to it, however if wikipedia's explanation is a bit too longwinded heres another:

Whoever the wallet belongs to I hope they appreciate the effort you're going to. I lost my wallet a few years ago on a round-about, some guy drove over it then stopped to see what it was. Turned out it was my wallet with $75 in it, he rang my school, the school rang work then work rang me! When I went to pick it up the guy flatly refused to take any money asa reward, just said he hopes I repay the deed to someone else oneday. What a cool guy?
So I went back under the cover of darkness in stealth mode and left him some chocolates. Hope you enjoyed those chocs cool guy :D
