Geelong MTB XC - DH Weekend

The weekend of the 21st-22nd of October will see the Geelong MTB Club holding a mtb feast at the You Yang’s stockyards course.

The weekend will start with all day DH practice on Saturday with buses running from 11 till 4. Sunday morning will be more DH practice along with a short loop XC event running through the DH finish area. Sunday afternoon will conclude with the DH event.

In the pipeline at the moment are plans for a dj/mc, real coffee all day, food and cold drinks, new sponsors and other more info to come shortly

DH Entry - $60 (u-15 $40)
XC entry - $ 20 (u-15 $25)

Does anybody know where abouts the DH finish area is? Is that the trail with the wooden bridge and 2 wooden burms? Ive ridden You Yangs a few times but im unfamiliar with the names of trails etc.
Also will the XC race use any of the downhill trails or will it be a flat course?
