Failed download on kazza HELP!

aaarrrrgggh i just lost a massive file on kazza because ive used up all my HDD space... how can i get i back? im pretty certain it hasnt been deleted frrom my HD beacuse i still have shit all space left
please help me!!

find the dat file of the download in the kazaa my shared folder and make sure you dont delete it

then resume the download from kazaa if the dat file is still there it should just come up under the traffic tab.

next step: get kazaa lite

next step: get custom progged firewall software from a nerd or just get zone alarm pro

get norton or avg virus scanner, coz p2p is like having sex without a condom you never know if the bi*&h is dangerous goods or not

i found the download in the temp files folder, it was moved from the shared folder to there... so how would i be able to resume the download from where i was at?

and yea, ive already got kazza lite

once you put it in the my shared folder it should appear in the traffic tab once you open kazaa-lite, if it says more sources or sum sh*t just resume it.

it was a .mpa file in the temp folder so i changed it back to the .dat file and put it in the shared folder... still no go
doesnt matter now, ive started downloading it again and usage is free this weekend anyway

that sux...i lost a 200mb movie id been downloading.....that was wit dialup got to like 180 n accidentally deleted i nearly killed my computer..

But this time its not in the temp folder, and I cant find it searching for the file, but I know its still on the comp cause I havn't got my HDD space back. :?

if u want it 2 download a bit faster go 2 www.download.com and i search type in kazaa and u should find a download exalerator it helps make it a bit faster.

nah mate I wouldnt have asked if it was that easy :) Some big companies are trying to ban KLite it seems so it was farkin hard for me to find, heres the only links I could find if anyone is interested..

Limewire is IMO a much better program to use. Just go to google and type in limewire.. you'll get the gist of it.

yeh definatly get lime wire, its heaps better. i thought kazza lite was mad but i fucks your computer so much, all the kazza ones do. lime has no bad stuff at all. oh and all those things like the kazza bullguard and the excelorator are spyware and virus things. :wink:
