Hi fellow farkers, im looking into getting a Jackal (with SC travis up front), was just wondering how jackals handle downhill?
Are they ok for the odd dh race?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah they are heaps good for downhill (for a hardtail) my mate has one and he said it was awsome. And one with travis's would be even better;) .

mmm keep in mind that they are pretty short in the rear end ?16" so they wont be super stable at speed, a long frame (23.5" TT) would probably help keep things a little less sketchy at speed.

Yep, thanks for that guys, not worried at all about stability at high speeds as they are unknown to me:p

I hear they are pretty farkin heavy. But theyre solid as, they'd make a good dh bike. Although im not sure how the geometry would go with a set of 200's on the front. As they are more a dj/fr hardtail

The pic looks mad. Would look better if both rims were white, you got a blackspire chain-device and some juicy's or something. But were arent all Bill gates sole benificiary. Looks trick anyways.
