i can't work this damn thing out.....:P
can someone just tell me how to get a pic on this thing!!!???
anyway, the specs are:
DMR Sidekick frame
Marzocchi Super T Pro forks (170mm)
CK hubs (20mm front, normal rear)
CK Steelset headset
Hayes Hydros (8" front, 6" rear)
FSA V-drive cranks with FSA Platinum Pro BB
Dice TwoSix rims
IRC Kujo DH tyres (2.35)
Azonic Hot Seat
DMR CroMo wing bars
V8 Pedals
XT drive train
Tioga steam (oh yeah baby)(broke me azonic shorty :( ) (sad day)
Some home made chain keeper onerer....
and an awesome rear flashy light!!!
This bike rides sooooooo well
I thought it might get kicked back so much that i;d just fall off and that would be that, but once you get used to it, you can do some pretty mad stuff :P
the forks just kinda...........rule!!!!
Hardtails rule the earth!!!!(don't take offence if you don't think so!!)
Anyway, i'm really really pleased with the outcome of this bike....
Gonna give it a real test next week racing some DH and 4X...
What do ya reckon?

sounds kickass...
would be cool with a 24" rear wheel though

Sounds like an awsome bike, I dunno about the 24" idea tho, that would make the head angle even slacker and could result in a broken frame!
Just upload them into the farkin.net gallery then type URL address in here

with the weight of the supers youd need some acceleration (hence 24") if you gonna be competetive at dual or 4x
besides, if hes careful it is not too hard to deal with a slack head angle....(IMHO)

id be a bit wary of putting 7" DC's on a frame made for a 5" SC, ive seen a few pics of trailstars snapped in the middle of the down and top tubes... it would probably be fine if u dont go dropping off large drops on a regular basis.
apart from that it sounds like a insane bike, but if your big hucker id go with a different frame just to be sure
this thread tells u how to post up pics

hes getting a new frame soon im pretty sure, but for the time being im sure this will do !! will be sweet !!

putting a 24" rear wheel on to counter the weight of a super-t on your 4x bike to be competetive, is pretty damn stupid if you ask me...

a car
http://www.farkin.net/forums/album_pic.php?pic_id=519
a) that would have happened to just about any bike, given that he ran into a parked car at high speed
b) better the $6-700 frame than the $1200 forks...

Psycodh, no, i don't live in a palace, it's a mate's place :P
I've been doing DH runs in Adelaide for a week now on this beast (just drove back then :(...), and can still only bring good news. (this thing flies!!!)
Also at the jump park, it loves to be in the air
I also let other dudes have runs, and they could only say good things too.
Despite the scratches from the DH shuttles, all is good...and i don't plan on running into parked cars any time soon!!!:P
I know the frame is made for 4/5" inch forks, or whatever it is, but am happy with how it performs now.
I will get a dually........actaually.......nah........this thing rules!!!
nice but the whole DC's on a DMR not good idea
I've got Super T's on my DMR (swap between them and Z1s depending on the situation) at the moment, rode it at Thredbo and a few other places, no problems yet. I do make an effort not to strain the head tube though, just in case.

holy shit! how many spacers do you have on there. I reckon if you hit your brakes hard enough you head will hit the steerer tube.

yeah i think that the OLD norco 250 frame could take it, the 2001, or 2000 frame, the one that is listed as a north shore bike on the norco site. but any other 250 frame to me does not look that trust worthy. you could tho, i mean if people are butting large tripple clamps on DMR's then i'de say go for it, but if you have the old 250, then for sure.

You could put tripple clamps on a jump bike but its a very bad idea. Sure i could take it- for a little while, its not worth possibly snapping your frame. Dont do it man. most people who put tripple clampps on a jump bike end up snapping the frame sooner or later.
