Hey all

State champs was great all over.
Shuttles were fast most the time expecialy when 3 trailers were running, the track was sweet and most people had fun.

I just wanna know if anyone got a video of me caining myself between the stairs and the rock garden when i went all the way down the hill:mad: Also if you got any pics of me that would be great.
I am plate no 847
Green Fox Jersey
Red fox shorts
661 fullface
Bighit 3

Also post up what injuries you got.

I know alot of people stacked around the rockgarden, expecialy in the race runs. That area was deadly. Even NORTON stacked after it and took out a few spectators.

Anyway just post up how it all went for you and if you enjoyed it!

do have to agree that rock garden was rather painfull.... came off in it on saturday mid morning during practice pitched over the bars into rocks and trees, did a hanger and a lot of pain... thankfully Dim at Spirit Distributions had sent me some spares earlier.

I am just cut up bruised and saw but managed to get it all sorted before racing....

WrongTown! I ride a cannondale, and fucked my forks. I then grabbed my brothers bike PUT ON A NEW DERAILLEUR AND 1 NEW SPOKE and raced it AND CAME 2ND on a bike i have ridden once or twice.
I think that shows big props to how good the bike is if i can jump on it and immediently be competitive on a bike i dont ride.
And yes, he will get what he wants for the bike coz its 1 year old in very good nick and it selllling at a very good price.

Cheers for that Roxy, i just wanted to stand up for my bros sale, no one needs to unneccesarily jeapodise the sale of his bike, and it was a bloody awesome bike to ride.

BTW to all who care, the new GT DHI is in at Trak Norwood and looks effin sexy to boot!

I love the attention to detail.

The hole in the seat mast was a great idea for access, but im not sure about the 6" rotor on the back?

I think that might be because some pros are goin that way for less weight.

Have u had a chance to weight the bugger? 16.7 from memory! They look the goods.
Missed u at the SA Champs on the weekend Roxy, a track really worth travelling for.

indeedy i did, in fact it was enough pressure to completely strip and rip out the supr tight loctited, bolt on drop out on the left side of the bike lol, hit a hole that wasnt there in qualifier realy realy hard (it was a race run i was going hard!) and yehr crumpled into the bike and rolled down the hill, walked back up and rolled down to the finish unable to pedal:( pain

pisses me off, ended up with a 4:07 second faster then my qualifer which was very unexpected seeing as my qualifer was slow for energy conservation (i hate pedaling), and was off the bike forages, adn no pedaling, if only........... crapy stack, but guess what tassie is close! so il try again:D

yeh went to lithgow hospital they told me in was a minor bleed and alota soft tissue damage nuthin 2 be worried about, got back down here couple days later started to get realy weird went to the hospital here, was taken in right away and into surgery:p damn dodgey hospitals.lol

Yeh it will be sick when its open, also when the dj track allen and stuuf are building is finished will be sick aswell, will be packed when it first opens though. I heard on channel 10 when the race report was on its taken them 5 years to get it to what it is and 2 million bux? i dont see how in 5 years its that short and how it cost that much.

I hear you (make it longer and then have a national round there! vote 1 Eagle Park) but the 2 million didn't go into purely a dh track, there are also lots and lots of km's of xc tracks. Then you have to spend money on extras that are needed in projects like this. I mean things like consultants, engineers, surveyors, all the fencing, all the access fire roads, the concrete bridge structures over the creeks, a lot of earth works, etc. So long as the government keeps flowing the pizzad ($$$) will we all be better off!

Yeah it's true. A lot of bureaucracy seems to have gone into that park, which usually accounts for a lot of cash!. There is some pretty decent lengths of single track up there as well. It will be a very good things when it opens. Fingers crossed!
