Bummer for sat working - it's going to be a killer of a race.
:( I can't make it at all
I couldn't see it being any more than $50 for Sunday
(plus your day license if you don't have one - highly suggest signing up for a yearly)
:( being that I'm not going to be there - I"ll have to double check
otherwise rock up and I'm sure you'll be fine.

as im aware you will be in in u17, you can only be in under 15's while you are under 15, as of the 31th of dec im aware? by that sate you already 15, meaning you will be in u17s for the series, check www.mtba.com.au for further details but im pretty sure thats right.

Under 17's for you mate. Under 15's means UNDER 15 year olds. You cannot be 15. According to MTBA rules, you need to still be 14 at the end of 2007 to race U15's in the state seriese, as it is over the space of 2 calender years. I have the same problem with the U17-U19 switch this season.
Good luck, hope to see you there.
Just wondering is there going to be qualifying for u 19s because it only says that there is seeded runs for elite and expert

ok there aare a few mistakes on the flyer.
a) there are NO double points or bonus points, points are as normal, and you will drop 2 rounds.
b) normal qualifiers will be run for u19, elite men and women. not for expert as per usual.

Not totally scratched, just trying to change the date at the request of the landowner to a time outside the high fire danger period (dec-feb). It's a real concern in a normal year but especially this year in a drought.
Any reason why there will be no expert qualifying runs?

Any reason why there will be no expert qualifying runs?
if you read the thred youl find this has already been asked and answered.
it is the same at every race includeing nationals, sometimes there may bea qualifer and race run for top 5 but this is very very very unlikely for this race

Long Gully
To all those heading to the race at Long Gully, good on you all for doing the best sport in the world.
I read the first part of this thread and found just a couple of things that need to be clarified.
Firstly, the location of Long Gully is Lot 330 Long Gully Road Healesville, the Melways reference in 269 (C4), not C3, you will find C3 is actually Chum Creek, C4 has the actual driveway of the property on the map.
The track that will be used is the Road Gap track, this has new and old parts, some hard, and some basic and relatively fast.
There is free camping, limited facilities, a porta loo, water yet no shower.
Hope to see you all there as its gonna be a massive weekend and a lot of fun!!!! The best way to kick off whats gonna be a fantastic state series.

If riders can drop thier worst two rounds from the 8 race series, does that mean that if you only do seven rounds you can only drop one round and if you only do six rounds or less you cant drop any and every point/round goes towards your final tally?
Does that make sense? Some of us are wondering how it all works........
