Dirt the UK mag also has heaps of DH stuff in it.
Revolution, Dirt & Clict would be the best 3 for what your after.

clict and revolution would be the closest to that of the Aussie ones that I know of. Freewheel and Australian Mountain Bike are a mix of all sorts of things. Mountain Biking Australia caters a bit more to the enduro, cross country and all mountain side of things
Otherwise Dirt from the UK is a bit more extreme-centric than other OS mags.
I reckon you should try and find a few of the web based mags, there is a better chance of getting something that is actually a specific DH magazine.
Dammit I was going to be first reply and could demonstrate that I got some benefit from my expensive magazine habit. Then I got distracted by southpark (cartman was telling someone to put a condom on Timmy) and suddenly its too late. never mind. good to see others agree

Decline is a US mag thats very DH and freeride focused. It's around 18 bucks though. I read it in the newsagent.

And most of the time it's film too, big props to them.
I've been a subscriber to Dirt for the last year and I couldn't be happier. The quality of the writing, the photo's and the mag in general is fantastic. Very much focused on downhill, and the world championships (so you get a bit of 4X in there too).

Film, I was under the impression most of there stuff had gone digital. I know Victor shoots in digi and is one of there main contribs.

Yep, its completely, totally, 100% digital.
But only recently... the last 2 issues maybe.
So, looking back to the rest of the Dirt mags, which were shot using a lot of film, the quality is incredible!
