I like my Pace forks, and at first thought this would be a good thing. DT Swiss don't really do anything wrong and with some extra money behind the forks they'd only get better.

But then you read that the division will be headed by Christian Mueller formerly of Answer/Manitou. All I can say is I hope Christian has a new line of thinking and doesn't progress Pace the same way Manitou has gone.

Time will tell.

Christian was head of Manitou's Euro division. This is something that DT Swiss have been working on for a while now.

Well, the arches point in the same direction, so at least he'll feel at home...

edit: I wonder if Specialized's XC race guys will continue to use the forks?
