Hey everybody.
Now, this may be a stupid question, but I read a recently in "Mastering mountain bike skills" (written by Lee mckormack and B. Lopes) that most duallys have about a querter of there suspension as sag.
But I ride a Single Pivot Super 8 and there is zero sag...Do I need a lighter spring, or is it normal for single pivot bikes to have no sag?
Thanks in advance.

NO sag? So you get on the bike and the rear end doesn't move AT ALL? If so... either your shock is fucked, you're running a TON of preload, or it's oversprung for you by a factor of about 10. DH bikes generally run a good 30% sag.

Here here, no sag is fucked, no traction or control, it may seem dodgy coz u thin ull bottom out tooo easy, but ull corner like ur on rails!

How much do you weigh and what weight spring is it? I'm just interested as I didn't think zero sag was possible (espec on a DH bike like the super 8) without a seriously heavy spring and/or seriously light rider.

im 50 kg and the spring would be a 450.
But ive got a decent amount of sag now, so im happy.
