thredbo oceanias

does any one know if you have to have some sort of special licence to compete in the oceanias champ that will be in thredbo on the 23 of march casue i wanted to race but was unsure if you have to have some sort of internatonal licence to race any info would help cheers

There's some important information (as well as a good laugh) in this (http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?t=60389) thread.

From what I can gather, you'll need the $280 International licence to race the Oceanias, BUT judging by the Asstralian Open that's been scheduled for the same weekend, you should still be able to have a race with a regular MTBA licence. I'm just assuming that there will be two seperate lists of results (Aus Open & Oceanias)
