Hey Guys,

Well I have had this rig for some time now but never got around to putting it up. Started out life as a 26", but the wheelset had seen its day (about a year ago). The hubs were fine so i built up some 24" wheels and have been loving them so far.

This puppy is in the next [R]evolution mag which should be out really soon. Got a stellar review but I won't spoil it, you will have to grab the mag when it is out :).

Absolutely loving everything about it. Frame is stellar, just a beautiful build with more character than the rest. In case you don't know about them, they are hand built in Canada. You can get what ever colour your heart desires, some custom finishes are also available for a little bit extra. This frame will set you back $895 (you can check other models and prices on our site www.xxiv.com.au (http://www.xxiv.com.au/)).

As for the components all great. Loving the El Camino for DJ / Street, power adjust i think is a great feature especially if your only running a rear brake. Can tune it in to your liking and adjust it for different surfaces (loose top soil, hardpack, soft clay etc.). The forks are good, the spring is a little too stiff for my liking though, doesn't track well over bumpy run ins, berms etc. But otherwise they are good, reliable DJ forks.

Anyway here are the specs:

Wheels: Front 24” Atomlab Pimplite Woodman Components hub, Maxxis Holyroller 24 *2.40.

Wow likes hot. Um so the frame runs 26 wheels, when you have 26'' wheels how do you line the brake rotor and caliper up rite. Cause looking at it i cant work out how you can move the caliper back with the rotor when running 26'' wheels

26" is fine. Lining up the rotor and caliper is just the same as having 24s in, the hub is in the same place (maybe a little back). Plus most calipers like hayes, shimano, avid work with all horizontal dropouts so the disc can slide through no worries to take advantage of all the dropout.

The chainring is a Profile Widow Maker, if it was a "chainguide" it would be a Gamut :p

I have never had any major issues with fixed calipers before on SS. Most brakes work perfectly, others just need a little clever thinking but will work. I find its a pretty much set and forget type of thing anyway.

Awesome bike.

The Dobermann bikes rank very high in my favourite frames.

Not really a fan of pink bikes but this one looks alright.

I love this bike as much as I love my own! The pink is somewhat hawt, I gotta say...

As for the fixed caliper thing, as Ken said, you just need to be a bit inventive. I'm running a Juicy 5 on mine and found that I had to space it out a bit so the rotor wasn't hitting the caliper body. Works like a treat now!

That's what i told him, but he said he likes it like that because he's tall and doesn't want to do it just for "Fasion", yet he gets a pink frame?

'Tis very hawt ken....Does need a couple little things done though.

It doesn't burn my eyes out in the photos.

For those of you that haven't seen it in the flesh, you need sunglasses to look at it in daylight.
