yes its a hardrock. yes its changed quite a bit since i got it.
specs shouldnt be too hard to work out. the stickers on my bike change very regularly so it doesnt look exactly as it does here.
check http://www.melbourneriders.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1140&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 for its transformation

Damn thats the nicest hardrock ive seen. A new stem and you are set.. I hate those specialized mobius ones.

first time i think i've seen a rigid-idge hardrock. good to see something different. i like the progression from sparking showroom trail HT to custom streeter. those stickers are a nice touch too mate. keep us updated of its (seemingly constant) evolution. :)

cheers,

BTW i forgot to ask - how do you find the ride of the DMR rigids on a tight alloy frame such as that? i'm thinking of going down the same road soon (STP) to give me more enjoyment on urban stuff but am unsure of the rigid-with-alloy-frame issue. thanks.

rigids and that frame make for a very stiff ride. its great for street and smooth dirt, but anything more and things get a bit too rough.

the zx12 is my dads. he figured it was time for another bike and wanted something he could ride comfortably and wasnt too fast. ended up with that, so go figure!

Thing of beauty, so simple and so refined. :)

I'm with the other fellas and reckon an Azonic Shorty or something similar would suit it better. :)

Rhysbaby! That's not me with the avatar of my bike, just some kid who is excited at the prospect of canine goodness!

I do love this bike, but please hurry up and break the frame so you can get yourself a steel thingy.
