Well I was searching for a Downhill frame and came across this little champ, I managed to get the frame and wheelset for a very reasonable price ( brand new). I also scored the chainguide, brakes and crankset new at bargain prices too.
All up this puppy cost me far less than retail, a bit of research and shopping around goes a long way!
I went for strong components all round as I'm weighty and not that smooth a rider at times, that and I couldnt get saint cranks in 83mm BB in time for the build.
The bike rides brilliantly and really compensates for rider stuffups :p.

This Bike rides very Nice, i almost had the privilege of having the first big stack on this beast, however the 8 inches of plushness saved my ass:mad: Haha only joking, it did save my hide though. Very nice mate i want to ride it again.

Im not really comfortable saying.

I will say that i saved money by shopping around both on the net and at shops. Research parts and look around for deals, be patient but when you spot a bargain grab it. When I scored this one I was at a shop looking for a totally different frame when the lad pulled this one out and made me an offer I couldnt refuse.

I like some other people, never thought I would buy a giant (I was looking at a high end single pivot frame), but when you get a good deal for a bike that rides this sweet well, I couldnt be happier :) .
