hi guys, just saw a few pics of the new demo/bighit lineup for 07. some crazy colors but id still be keen to know some specs and prices if anyone has some inside info!

the demo 7 looks good.

id hate to be the only one. but specialized have really let me down with the new designs and colours on those demo's, not a fan at all. the rear linkage system looks whacked and the colours are pretty bad. i just dont think they look of feel like a demo anymore, anyone else feeling this??

They have ruined the 07 line. They all look like a dogs breakfast IMO. The new demos linkage system is waked. The shape of the frame. The new big hit it odd.

The new demo's linkage system is just the same FSR system as its been for 10 years or more.
The big hit is the same as last year.

I will say the "homebrand" Enduro should burn, they take what was probably the best all mountain platform in the biz and dump it for that shitheap, up the price, lower compatibility... Likewise the Demo 7, I guarantee a 1.5 headtubed version of the SX Trail would have been a far better thing.

Find it funny that most of their race team still run 2 generations superseded '05 P3s for MTNX, Berrecloth is still riding a SX-Trail....

Should all be in the shops soon.

i am glad i got my 05 demo 9 pro..... the new ones are horrible! at least i wont need a new frame for several years so i can wait for specialized to get their act together..... they better bring back the demo 9... or else! .. lol :p

the pin stripe just makes my alright list, but everything else i have looked at is whacked. really disapointed. the linkage system is the same but the bikes looked so much better on the 8's and 9's of this year. they look so much weeker now. and as far as paint jobs. there trying something new, but its not really working

yeh i have been a mad keen fan of specialized ever since i knew what a real bike was. but this year they have put me off. hopefully next year they will reconsider some of their design ideas

Yeah have to admit Specialized new argyle graphics are pretty out there but I think it's good to see a major commercial company take some design risks. Special props to Rock Shox 2007 range for doing this too. It's a love it or hate it approach but a step in the right direction from the death metal aesthetic of the past few seasons.

yeh, the newer models look heaps better than the new ones. they should've stuck with the design.
