Go to your Local Bike Shop and they will be able to order you anything in at all from the 661 range.

Check out the 661 Flights & 661 Full Bravo Carbon helmets.

Don't buy one from Torpedo 7, buy locally in Australia. Then you can actually try things on etc before making your mind up.

just go into your LBS and try stuff on for size, then go home and order it half price of the net, then you will get the right size for the right price......

norco is sports aus as mentioned earlier, id rather buy them through aus though, norco have done alot of sponsorship and have always pu ALOT of help into our dh season here id rather buy in aus and show my appreciation.

there good guys they do alot, torpedo 7 arnt, grey imports companies are crap even though they are cheap. when it comes to the price of what armour is, id rather get a group discount from my lbs.

I've been holding back on this for a long time, but you are fucking retarded.

How are you supposed to buy SPD shoes second hand? What the hell has that got to do with a bike shop? They don't stock shoes that you're NOT going to buy just for your convenience. The reason that you pay more at LBS's than online stores is BECAUSE they offer you those services - if you're going to use those services then you ought to be paying for them. I don't care one way or the other if you shop online or buy from your LBS, but you can't have your cake and eat it to. People who do that shit are, IMO, scum.

my 2 local bike stores are snobby assholes... so thats the reason i buy online. but if they were nice and happy and helpful i would much rather buy from them. (wait, their are some nice workers but i rarely see them)
(and i DO buy off them, just ordered a bike, but for most things i'd prefer to not have to deal with em)

true, true.

the only time you should spend money online is for one off things that your lbs can't get in, apart from that the more you deal with your lbs the better off you will become because they will want to keep your business & for you to bring more business to them. fair enough also if your lbs doesn't look after you, you can always search for another lbs in the area that would want you as a regular customer & be glad to look after your needs. i haven't bought shit at all over the net because if my local doesn't have something i require i will find a shop that does have it & just pay for it then go back to my lbs for everything else :)

if you don't find a local shop with one check out a few motorbike stores as the flight is sold for both uses.

the flight and hurricane are approved for motorbike use, but yeah, they are also marketing them under mtb so im assuming they are reasonably light. if you are after an MTB specific helmet check out the pro bravo's and the strike, we've had both at work and they are pretty nice. the strike is just a bassic polycarbonate helmet ala full comp, the bravo comes in fibreglass and carbon, at really competitive pricing too.

I use the hurricane flight. I've always used moto approved helmets, and the flight is a lot lighter and less bulky than previous helmets I've owned.

They aren't too bad weight wise, have good air flow through them and are very comfortable.

Couldn't be happier with mine.
