How long has Makralon been around ? I thought only a few years. And lego doesn't really seem like a polycarb, is it possible a blend of some sort ?

Its been around for a while - developed in 1953 and released in 1958.

we had a huge piss up for its 50 year anniversary.... it was second only to the piss up we had for the 100 year celebration for Asprin!!!

gotta love a corporate job.
