They haven't hit my shins as yet :), They're very grippy though, i think im gonna get some pads just in case :D.

Most of the parts are off an 06 STP 0. The 06 zero didn't come with Howitzer. Appart from the frame i've changed, the rear rim, rear hub, freewheel, chain, both tires, grips, pedals, headset, seat clamp, new forks and got the bars cut.
Nice clean lines but kinda industrial at the same time, really like it.

Not too sure on the frame weight. They're not exactly light though, i think around 2.8 kg (im probably wrong)

Um.... i've tried searching the internet for the frame weight, but couldn't really find anything. I think it's around 2.8 kg, but im probably wrong.

It's so rad seeing the Fire-eye owners coming out of the wood-work. Have had mine for bout 5mths (Blk Spitfire) and absolutely love it! I live close to the city so she's become my commuter- which means I get to hit up the skate park almost every morning on my way into work and then stow it away in the office until it's home time:D
Thx for mine too Ben! Am sure you'll have a drove of Fire-eye Farkineers within the near future. Viva Le Fire-eye!!

The hub itself was $134.95, it comes with a standard freewheel but i got a new one for around $50 (very loud :D).
