hard to say how bad it is without seeing it.. go to your bike shop and show them, get them to space out the chainring a little, so it doesn't happen anymore.

2-3mm is starting to push it.. I think the average chainstay is made out of ab out 5mm thick aluminium but dont' quote me on that. Watch it.. if you start to feel flex, stop riding it.

i seriously doubt the chainstay tube is more than 2.5-3mm thick. 5mm would make a tube that size close to solid.
The best way is to go to your bike shop and show them and if their cool they should sort it out

Also it is their fault for this happening, they setup the bike. Don't let them make you think you did something wrong.
true if they set up your bike then theyve made to mistake not you so u should be treated fair

1mm is a fair size chunk, i wouldnt want to be riding around on it unchecked.

Ouch! Definately get it checked out and see what you can do about it, it'd probably be the best idea not to do any big jumps or drops untill the problem is soretd... :?
Good luck

What do you people think shuold happen?.. get spacers.? and leave it like that?
That frame is effectively compromised. Take it back asap, tell them what's happened, make sure they understand that YOU haven't fiddled with it, and get either a written assurance from them (preferably backed up by Norco) that if the frame does break there that it will be warrantied, or have the frame warrantied right now and make sure the shop sets the bike up properly this time. If it "just needs spacing out", MAKE SURE YOU GET IT ON PAPER FROM THE SHOP. Take a photo of the scratch, date it, and keep it around.
