So fresh and so clean Last Raffnix

well I decided it was time for a change. No longer was the orange paint work of my Last Raffnix able to get me hard. After a long hard year of abuse I decided to give my ride a bit of a spruce up. I started with the frame with a little paint, then the forks, wheels, cranks and pedals. A little bit of goodridge goodness. Then it was time for a new set of shoes, of the slick kind. And last but not least, an illicit headset, mmmmmm (Thanks Ryan).

Wheels: Da bomb 36 spokes on headspin 20mm front and a Tuff neck SS rear
Brakes: Hayes 9's with goodridge lines

personally the forks look like ass, but otherwise the bike looks mint, rims look awsome, frame looks the goods.
but yeah, personally i woulda left the forks as they were.

Yeah I figure about 20 hours so far just with dissasembly painting and rebuilds. then a shite load more on my brakes, Fiddly fuckers.

Wasn't too hard. I just made sure I didn't get too carried away and took my time. Also good masking tape is your friend.

Well, not that i'm nearly as big as HUGE Matt, but you kind of get used to riding small bikes after a while....then you ride T-Rexs' v10 and it feels like a good size?:confused:

The white colour on the forks and rims is an interesting shade -- I can't tell on my monitor whether its greyish or off white -- exactly what is the colour called? The Fly Reuben Pedals and Potencia stem are painted in a similar off white colour.

What stem are you using now? - it almost looks like a flipped BlkMrkt or Azonic aggro stem. Will you use a BMX stem for the 22.2mm NPJ bars? I think using those bars gives you so much more options to use when you want to choose a stem.

Nah it must just be the lighting or your monitor but the paint is actually just a plain ol flat white.

The stem is a flipped Da Bomb CNC'd Fuse stem.

Nah Been there, Done that, 24's are so last year :D kidding, I actually prefer 26's they hold speed so much better and I find them to be more stable. I'm also quite tall and 24's just look stoopid under me.
