Anyone here ever thought of getting a job as one of those people delivering things in the city on bikes? I'm not too sure what the job is termed.. messenger boy? Seems kind of fun to be able to roam around the city, dropping parcels off. Anyone has any opinions on it and how to get such a job? maybe as a part time thing?
It is called a Bike Courier. Yes I thought about it, but didn't want to live in Sydney.

What city do you live in?
In nearly every city there is a town square or park or something where all the messengers hang out before, after and during the day. Your best bet is to head to that place, get to know some of the guys and let them know that you are looking for work as a messenger. This way you get the heads up when someone is leaving and a position is becoming available.
Also have a look at www.sydbma.org those are the guys to ask.
