yeah i laughed my ass off when i saw it too. seems i rode into it about half the speed i did in practice (god knows why) and jumped further left. i was hitting it slow on purpose to make to corner but after watching the footage maybe having absolutely no sleep sat night finally caught up with me. funny enough my bike is fine, my body was not. was having a killer run until riding off that like a gumby though.

Ah ya poor bugger Ben! Low speed huckn- you could almost see your "oh shit" pucker tighten as soon as you've realised you didn't have the speed. Rest that hand well champ- that means no touchie for a few days!

Sounds like you all kept the ambo's/Medivac crews busy, and have given a few of the shops plenty of repairs to fix through the coming weeks. Everyone's had a gnarly story to tell about that road gap and the state of the track by the end of Sat.

ah shake rattle and whatever....... my "pucker" as you put it was fine the only time i was worried about eating shit was just before i hit the tree.

when i over jumped the creswick gap (57 feet lip to start of landing) and almost landed flat bottom (about 70 feet lip to where i landed), thats when my pucker well and truly tightened.....
