latly i have been getting a lot of puntures/flats, i run a pretty high tyre pressure as i ride street and ive just been using the tubes from my lbs tioga i think they, but they dont seem to be working and i know its not my rim or tyre as its a just built up sun big city rim and a new oddessy path tyre, but anyways is there a tube that is strong without adding to much weight

either double-up your tubes or buy a thorn-proof tube..
screw weight. dont be a poonse
When I got my bike, I got a flat in the first couple of weeks (a friend was riding it). I repaired the puncture, ran fine for a week, and then got another flat. Then I bought a thornproof tube, haven't looked back...

Mmmm... sounds like the medicine I may need.
I've had three flats in the last four days; all external punctures (glass, metal shards, etc.)

Check your tyre for , glass, thons etc.... Most the time you put a new tube in and there it is the thorn is still poking through the tyre and gets your tube again. Somthimes you cant see them so run your finger in your tyre.

yeah i might just double up my tubes, do you cut a tube in half like around the middle and then wrap it around a new tube or repaired tube, and i know its not glass or any of that stuff cause its a new tyre, maybe im just a hack rider :p

After a decade or so of riding I have made a habit of thoroughly checking rim sidewall, rim tape, valve seal, interior/exterior of tyre and tube, etc. each time I repair a flat.

What he said^^^^
& avoid tyre levers.
also make sure the drill holes are covered fully by the rim strip

when i got my new stp, i got at least 5 flats in the first week, then i got some thorn proof tubes (pretty much double thickness tubes) and haven't had one since, and that was at least a month ago.
