Hey there Farkiner's and Farkinette's. Just been watching an old episode of Mythbusters of the human bottle rocket pack and they reckoned it couldn't be done- then I remembered this awesome footage from some crazy Asian/Japanese game show that was sent to me ages ago. Check it out, bloody hilarious!
Anyone got footage of other "busted" myths that prove they the can happen?

Enjoy- listen to the dude's screams
I do believe that video is what inspired the "mythbust", but they didn't show it on the show and questioned its legitimacy.

Totally the kings of outrageous game shows- something sickenly funny about watching little people pole-axing themselves on those shows. Anyone remember that one where they had to sprint across pontoons that would sink if they were going too slow, whilst jumping through closed floating doors? You'd get the occaisional contestant that would try to jump through the door that wouldn't open.....whabam! They'd KO themselves and then almost drown...hahahaha.Idiots. Can remember years backwhen they showed bits n pieces of them on that crap show that was hosted by Tim Ferguson.

Mythbusters never tried it with a real person they used a dummy so i think it would have worked if they tried a real person. They used an air compressor and in this movie they use a hand pump and the mythbusters used like 3 times as much as them. But the funniest thing is that the guy is like stuffed and crying. I love chinese game shows but they like don;t have them any more.

Jeez-susss! Blackwater? Holy smoke dude, unreal to hear that there's a posse out in CQ. You part of the open cut operation up there?
Sounds like I gotta find someone with cable to tape it for me;)

I remember those awesome shows, my favourite was when they would do the normal crazy tasks of running through crazy obstacle courses but after experiencing the 'bladder punch' where they had to drink heaps of water then a machine would continually belt them in the bladder whilst they watched fountains and people drinking etc. Anyone seen the one where some lady has a funnel on her head and tries to catch the soccerball but it breaks her nose and knocks her unconcious? classic.

Im working at Ensham mine at the moment, near Comet...you from out this way? We have a good little crew in blackwater and a great scene in Rockhampton.
Never seen the original Takeshis Castle - from the credits it says that MXC is just the footage of the most extreme challenges from Takeshis Castle - is this right? Saw a hilarious one once where they dressed people in nappies and put them on those kids trikes with the fixed front wheel/peddle combo. Attached the trike by rope or something to a truck and they had to peddle furiously to keep up or they fell off and got cained. The one where they have to run along the big rotating cylinders is always good for some carnage as well.
I'm hoping I can get someone to tape it as well :)

Folks are up that neck of the woods in the mining game too.
Ah yes Takeshi's Castle and the whole MXC, as you have only seen the MXC stuff. Might have to do a search on the wonderful web for more of that crazy shit:D
