The way a music festival should be?

I was trolling across the net and came accross a music festival known as 'metalcamp'. Now granted, it is marketed at a particular group but I think the grounds and atmosphere are just amazing, far better than most other I have ever see.

7 days, 5 with bands playing
80 bands
Slovenia
PRIVATE BEACH

It just seems to me that in terms of sheer atmosphere, this particular festival goes the extra mile.
Can anyone suggest any European festivals that rival this? Im headed over next year and I want to enjoy it as much as I can.

The only thing what would make this better is there were sweet dirt jumps and downhill trails after and or during the festaval that would be the best week of my life. There are beautiful things in the world.

Check out Exit Festival http://eng.exitfest.org/. 20 stages covering everything from the Cardigans through to James Zabiela in a medieval fortress in the middle of Serbia. Best 4 days of my life.

Wacken Open Air festival (http://www.wacken.com/en/woa2007/), in Germany, only one of the biggest (and pretty diverse within the genre) metal festivals. Wish I could go :(

Party San Open Air festival (http://www.party-san.net/openair/index.php?lang=en), also in germany, not as big as WOA but who's going to argue with 3 days of metal and beer anyway? ;)

Well, the first three bands confirmed are Immortal, Sodom, and Blind Guardian. 80 more to go :p

If last years lineup is anythign to go by the rest of 2007's linup will be insane.

Awww how picturesque... That concert would be fuc$king sweet as. Immortal would go off. Mountains of might would be a very fitting song for them to play at that event :D. Not so sure about threshold, I brought 1 of their cds in a bargain bin for $2 thinking it can't be that bad. But it was. The atmosphere looks awsome. I just got back from pearl jam- great gig but the rules are shit at the superdome--no drinking in the stadium, no smoking, no moshing, everyone behave and take your seat. Whatever, its a fucking pearl jam concert. meh, guess thats how it is at large events in Aust.

Ah damn you! What I'd give to see Immortal play live...Enslaved...Sodom...I can't continue this. Damn you! *grumble mumble*
