Bugger me, that is not right!
I went to the beach during my lunch break yesterday as it was 30 degrees here in Coffs Harbour. I got an email from our Melbourne factory showing me a video of the snow while I was at lunch......I decided I'd go back to the beach after watching it.
Today it is borderline cold and not beach weather. Strange.......

I spoke to a bloke who was in the Blue Mountains yesterday - he said it was snowing up there!

Thredbo had -6 degrees this morning!

Yeh, the old fella would certainly be hiding away in these conditions! Frost bite may also be a problem.

I think the Blue Mountains had snow and bushfires in the same area on the same day, yesterday. Bizarre stuff.

Hail storms in Melbourne

Snow in Blue Mountains

Bushfires in Blue Mountains

Sunbaking on Bondi Beach

Virtually hurricanes in Brisbane

All on the same day. Yes, very bizarre.

Mid afternoon here yesterday was 7 degrees and snow at near sea level.

But then I've driven around in the mountains here in mid November when theres been enough snow for it to be covering the tarmac a few inches deep (as in where your wheels run, and deep enough in between to be scraping the sump).

.:Easily:.

There was predicted snow to 1100m. Which is quite low. Thredbo village sits at 1365m so the snow would have fallen just above the first ridge of the chair. Then again. Last year at the nationals in December we had hail in the village and snow from half way up the mountains. But then again the rest of the state was fine. :)

Johnny, why don't you get it right sometime?
