Well i haven't posted up my bikes for a while now, so after a few upgrades and an addition to the fleet, i thought i'd show you what i've got (minus my hardtail as its in the back of my car in pieces).. so here they are...

Downhill bike:
Frame: Xtension X2 DH, 8.5 inches travel.
Fork: Fox 40 RC2 (pic shows 40r, i just haven't changed the stickers yet)
Wheels: Black Hadley 36h hubs (108pt rear), Sun MTX 36h rims winter camo, DT Swiss competition double butted black spokes.
Derailleur: 2007 SRAM X9 short cage
Shifter: 2007 SRAM X9
Brakes: 2006 Hayes HFX9 HD, 8" rotors
Cranks: Race Face Diabolous, 170mm, 38t chainring
Guide: E-13 MTX 40t max.
Pedals: DMR V8
Bars: Syncros Bulk 40mm rise. 680mm wide OS
Stem: Syncros Bear Hug HD, 65mm OS
Seatpost: Ritchey Pro 2bolt
Seat: Syncros crush zone XC (bloody wide for a supposed XC seat)
Tires: Syncros BHT3 2.5 front and rear.
Headset: FSA 'the pig' DH

16"er..
Eastern traildigger 16"
Redline Monster 3pc cromo cranks. Syncros lockon grips - blue. Odyssey twisted pedals - blue. Other than that its dead stock.
14mm rear axle, 3/8 front. Gyro.....

ooo yeah... R6.1 Hadley! That's the final run of 108 point hubs if I'm not mistaken. They're still the trickest sounding hubs alive.

If you're going to replace the stickers on the 40's, why not go for a new paint job with a colour change? Maybe a matching red?

why is the roller on the box guide up soo high??

is it because the frame has alot of rearward travel??

I was thinking about a paint job.. but i dont have the money to get them done and i actually like the primer grey colour of them anyway.
As for the hub, it was actually a 72point when i got it, but swapped the freehub body to a 108....
I also have a 108 on my hardtail... gotta have the good stuff.

found a pic of my hardtail... only chance is an El Camino brake on the rear now..

Nice pics man. you're a bastard. plain n simple.

The 16 looks cool with the blue bits, are they your old twisted pro's? As for painting the 40's I wouldn't do it, the grey matches the rims. Unless you were gonna do the 40's in the cammo too... now there's a thought...
