digital camera's

hey guys,has anyone had any experience with either of these cameras,Sony H5, Cannon S3IS. the good lady wants a new camera for chrissy and cant decide which one.

not exactly the h5 but I'm using the older version, the sony DSC-H1 and i love it! granted im still looking to buy a EOS400d soon but for a non slr camera, i cant fault it.
