Well first of all, singlespeed is where you have 1 chainring at the front and no gears at the back, and second of all thats impossible on a Giant AC because you'll snap your Chain.

Now, if your going to go SINGLE RING on the front, theres absoloutly no point unless your guna put a chainguide on. E.G. E13 - infact E13 are good. If you dont have enough for an E13, either get one from overseas for half the price, or buy a Race Face Diabolous because they're also a great guide for cheap.

Meh, press the search button on the top and look for chainguides. Ssooo many threads on them already.

Yeah mate it is definatly worth doing. I did it on my 05ac and my brother recently did it on his 06ac.
Pretty much there are two options.
1. Buy a "giant" brand roller thigo that screws onto your bike (what i have) it has two rollers and a bash plate thing. Pick one of these up for about $80. This is prob not the best, ive had to customise mine.
2. Buy a chain device eg)E13 or Mr dirt are good, these will set you back around $200-$300 so its pretty XXX
*You then have to buy a new chain and a new chain ring which will be about $100 for those.
All in all its expensive to do but if you want to do DH its almost a nessecity.

Fucks sake mate, learn to type/spell properly... all your posts are a mess of incomprehensible garbage. If you could spell out the problem properly (bad pun, woohoo), we'd be better able to help you.
