I work in a news agents and get paid to do next to nothing.
At this point in time i do friday saturday sunday which sux for racing but it keeps the bike running and is getting some cash put away.
Other wise i fix bikes for mates and get paid in booze
Casual bikeshop guy, which means I have to work thursday nights and weekends :(
Plus I do casual work for an advertising company, doing "maintainence", basically making sure the signs are there and undamaged... which means every fortnight I get paid a decent amount for wandering around shopping centres with a piece of paper in my hand, but, my new area means I now work in pubs and clubs, which can't be a bad thing at all! Get paid to do a pub crawl? why the fuck not :D
Get paid to do a pub crawl? why the fuck not :D
not sure if you could really call that a job... maybe a hobby which you get paid for. btw how do you score a job like that?
It's a pretty crud job really, I have to travel a bit, and spend all the working time in the bathrooms, so that really takes the gloss off it. Take today for example, I was out of the house for 5 hours, but will only get paid enough to justify 1 hour of work...
But I try to look at the positive side of it. My friend worked for the company, he was too lazy to advertise for the position, so he gave me a call.

I'm a Race Engineer at Piccola Scuderia Corse, working on Ferraris and our two Formula 3 cars.
I used to work for Shell International (London, UK) in their International Sponsorship section when they sponsored the McLaren F1 team, this was the year that Senna died (was nearly at the race but had only just got out of hospital with a broken ankle from an ice-skating accident).

Work 9-5 at Telstra, selling phones and getting paid to have abuse hurled at you day in day out. It's awsome though when you have a customer come in looking like they want to kill someone and sending them away witha smile on their face.
